ok....my question is are the pistons and rods interchangable on cranks.

say i have a 2.0 crank and put 2.2 rods on it....will it still be a 2.2....or will it be a 2.0?

my question is because i have seen forged internals for the 2.2 but not so much the 2.0?

any help would be appreciated

same bore size , but different piston pin locations

the rod lengths are the same if i remember correctly

but the 2.0 has the better rods , and pistons , and crank


the 2.0 is forged from the get go , or has better versions of
