Help... GM S/C car sputtering
Thursday, June 09, 2005 9:17 AM
I just got my car back from the shop... it was rear ended.

Caar was running fine before I brought it in, and now that I got it back as soon as it gets to about 2600rpms it sputters and is making almost no power. I'm not throwing any CEL's or anything either. It was not like this prior to taking it in, but I dont see how doing a rear bumper and a muffler hanger would have anything to do with it.

Anyone have any ideas WTF is goin on here??

^^Yeah definately, like where our fuel filters are. There are a few hoses under there, maybe something is pinched.

Nope I used to work at the shop they wouldn't do that

All you guys picked such complicated things.... turns out it was an easy fix. Changed teh spark plugs and spark plug boots and the car runs mint.

I just got nervous for nothing.

actually we were going with the obvious , rear ender + bent exhaust = possible smashed fuel lines

without reading the responses, i thought rear end = fuel problem (if sputtering) so no, we didn't pick the complicated, we picked the obvious.
