I would like to know how he can say that you're running rich just by staying behind you? black smoke is not a sign of rich mixture since the cat is there.

mine acts like any other boosted cars. black smoke at boost levels.......i like it, most people think my car is broken when thay hear the SC and think the motors blown when it puffs smoke whenever i get on it......
my a\f is around 13.4-12.9 to one .... not bad i think

well i only have a narrow band sensor, but it always goes way rich when i get on it. And i can look in my mirror and see greyish smoke. Kinda makes you wonder, if the car is running that rich stock, how much more HP could you get if it had a better af ratio?

BOOSTD CARS ARE DIFFRENT.. take all you know about civics and NA cars and get rid of it...... example, vavle overlap..... BAD.
running lean.....BAD
14.5-14.9 to one..... BAD.

rich .. good. ( very good, it also helps the car last longer. )
if you dont bleave me try puting your 290cc injecters back in... see how it runs.

I do have other problems with my s/c like a HUGE!!! vacuum leak that cause my car to die all the time just at idle.... and there is a 1-2 sec lag in power when i step on it... like i litterly do not move for a good 1-2 seconds when i put the pedal to the floor

These two things might be related.

If you've got a vacuum leak, it's likely that you're not building up the vacuum you need to close the bypass valve on the blower. That would account for this feeling of lag.

I get pretty much the same feeling if I'm under 3000 rpm in 2nd and give it around 3/4 throttle or so. It takes a second or two to build up the pressure to close the bypass and then kicks me in the back when it happens. It's kinda fun.

No issues at all at WOT though.
