And the RSM Eco Stage 1 s.c has enough power to...

Burn up the stock clutch!!! Yea, i know its not a good thing but oh well.

Although when i had my accident the clutch was never the same after i got it back from the bodyshop, it seemed to grab way later in the throw.

Anywho, tonight i was playing around, ran it hard a lil, then made a U-turn and hit it again.

First gear was fine, shifted hard into second (just got some Kuhmo 711's today so i was testing them out) The kuhmo's dont spin like my michellins did so it hooks up through the gears.

Then i shifted into third and it went bad, i let out the clutch but it didnt follow my foot all the way out, the rpms shot up and bounced off the rev limiter, i let off and hit the gas slightly and it just climbed back up slipping. Then i let off, pushed the clutch in (which stuck a little bit) then let it out. Down shifted, and ran it a little bit again and the same thing happend.

I think my pressure plate is collapsing on me.

Anywho, just my misfortune, im going to run it easy and save up for a Stage 2 clutch and RK Sport lightweight flywheel. All this power and no clutch to use it for a while.

I blame traction for this lol.

How heavy is the spec flywheel? I couldnt find the weight on them, i know the RKsport one is only 8.5 pounds.

rk sport is 11, spec is 7

and rk sport you can ONLY use one kind of clutch and its the centerforce, go with a spec combo

Yeah,i burnt out my stock clutch pretty quick when i got my s/c.I have a spec stage 3 clutch, and havent had any problems with it.If you get the stage 3,becareful when you let people drive your car.If i go to a carwash, valet etc,no one knows how to drive it.They do burnouts just trying to move the car.Its pretty funny actually, but it pisses me off when they ride the clutch.

How do you guys like the lightweight flywheels?? I was just curious, i drove a GSR Swapped civic once with a lightweight flywheel and every time you shift, if you do it easily then the rpms drop back to idle before you get into the next gear lol. Is it this extreme on our cars?? If my clutch isnt slipping and the slave cylinder works im gunna put off on the Flywheel.

I work for Ourisman Ford which is a part of Ourisman Chevrolet.... So hopefully i will get a decent price on my slave cylinder, but if i have to pay 300 dollars for a slave cyl im just going to spend the extra and get the spec stage 3.

Well i just ordered the Spec Stage 3 clutch from Ultrarev.com, with UPS 3 day air the total came to 404. The slave cylinder with employee discount would have cost me 308 alone, so i went ahead and got the clutch. No i just have to find a ride for the next couple days.

I cant wait.
