Here are a few pics of Ricardo's turbo 2200 set up. After he works out some idle issues, the beast will be on the road. It is a turbo 2200 with a built block, ported head, and a turbo cam.

Yes, for best oil drain the center section should have the oil inlet and outlets straight up and down.

looks like a pretty good install....
i love seeing people boost the underdog
do you have any plans for filtering the air entering that compressor? if not, a piece of screen and a hose clap works just great.
I was a retard, and now I'm permanently banned.
Actually for the compressor exit im running a 45-degree bend with a filter right were the battery used to be since i relocated it to the trunk.
run a 70 deg custom mandrel band and have a cold air...

what do the 2200 guys do about oil feed?
thats the only step in my plan I'm not too sure about....
I really gotta get on the ball about turbo charging my 2200... I'm gonna be the only non turbo cavalier at the bash from the way things are looking
The 2200 block has a fitting you just tap into no drilling just get a t fitting and screw it in.
looks sick glad to see it all come together. and good to see my extra block get put to good use!
(Insert really cool picture of my car with some catchy name or slogan here)
Just have your filter like you planned and then vent the hood above it.

very impressive setup
how did you find the clearances with the charge pipe being run on the passenger side like you did?
I plotted out my charge pipes this weekend too, and thats where I'm running mine.
looks good, keep us posted with dyno results... (and get a dyno vid posted for my collection) haha
cheers,
Steve

For the charge piping out of the turbo i cut a u bend in half ran one down and the other up its kind of hard to expalin but with one u bend u should clear it with no problem I'm getting that part welded tommorow when i get my exhaust done. Then i put a 90 at the bottom of that pipe went straight towards the intercooler ran it on the bottom behind the intercooler and put a u bend at the end of the intercooler. It was a pain to get it to fit but it did just gotta take ur time.
What size is your down pipe?????
what kind of 30lbs fuel injectors are you using cause adler has the same but i dont know what kind are they?
wowzers.
welcome.
