Engine oil coolers for boosted applications

Hi again friends. Sorry that I post too many questions some times but I like to listen the expert opinions of my JBO friends.

Ok, I want to know what engine oil coolers are you using with your boosted engines? what core size? what tubes sizes? does it have thermostatic switch? which kit do you have (brand) if you have the info? Also please post some pics (from coolers, filter sandwich adpater and tubes routing) if are available.

Is well known that an auto transmission really needs one and if a boosted engine, more, but what about the engine? I know that is improvement, but I want some opinions and recomedations about when oil coolers will be necesary in a NA to boosted engine conversions, especially for j-body plataform engines? and what kits and which size will be the best per application?

I appreciatte your support.

Regards,

Any other ideas friends. I not only talking about the prices, I would like to know what sizes or kit would be the best for our cars? I know that for turbo cars is really needed but for supercharged ones, is it worth the money?

Thanks,

You can go to Pep Boys they have a listing for oil coolers. We have one on the Reaper, but it was already on there. I assume it is a RKSport one. I do not know the core sizes, but most auto parts store they are sized off manufactures specs. Cost less as well. Pep Boys they are about $40-50.
