Ok well i am looking into getting the new pulley for my car and i hear water pump pulley puller will work... what are you guys using to do it?
also every one says just heat the pulley up to put it on but i don't want to ruin the seals on the snout as raven said he ruined a seal when he swapped his pulley.
I tried two. The first one was a power steering pulley puller. It destroyed the little lip on my stock pulley and didn't even make it budge. I then used a cheapo $5 3-jaw puller on it. Worked like a charm.

well i had a shop do mine, im to mechanically inclined to do it on my own. They damaged the lip on the original pulley a bit taking it off, but they just slid it back on using some lubricant on the shaft, well alot actually. Not sure what it was, but it was purple and very smooth.

i looked at the pulley boys one ... but it is 6 ribbed which is for the GTP supercharger i think and ours are 5 ribbed... and i would kind of like to get something that fits nicely on.... but if i can actually get people who have put the pulley boys pulley on and can actually say it works then i might cuz its cheaper... ahah and sorry if none of this makes sense... its 2:30 am right now..
come on some one has to know... other wise i am off the buy a $5 puller like Mr. Pute used.
Why even bother getting a 5 rib pulley? Unless it's cheaper or the shipper is closer to you, the 6 rib will work and look just fine:
I highly recommend the qwikchange system. If you do a fixed pulley and aren't satisified with it, you'll be sorry...

Mr. Pute - thank you for that picture, i just though it would be just too big... so thats the pulley boys one for the GTP supercharger? like the quick change one?

We ended up using a 3-jaw puller, it destroyed the pulley and needed lots of heat to get the damn thing off in turn melting a rubber seal in the snout. My stock pulley came right off without any damage or problems at all. On the GTP's some people have had problems getting the pulley off and some just fall off so you won't really know till you try.
The one thing you have to be carefull of with these SC's is that there is a needle bearing in the back of the snout where the rotors attach and if you break that then you have to rebuild it. Never hit the pulley with a hammer to try and get it off, always pull it. You can also get a special puller for the M90 and I would asume that it will work just fine on the M45 from Instense or ZZP.
If you plan to keep modding the car and plan to drop pullies sizes again definitly get the quick change system. Makes things so much easier. Good luck.

Here's my stock pulley:
See the bend in the puller lip on top? Yeah, that's from the power steering puller. Don't use that. Disregard the rust. Most of that is from leaving the thing outside in my toolbox where it's moist. There was hardly any damage from using the 3 jaw puller I had. Possibly some of the paint chipping off from the back side of the pulley was from it. No big deal. Aside from the rip in the metal on top from the power steering puller, the pulley seems to still sit flat and rotate true.
Then again, who cares if you destroy the stock pulley? If I decide to sell the s/c, I'll leave the qwikchange system on it. It's not worth it to go through the trouble of throwing the old pulley back on.

weird i used a powersteering puller and it came right off, some must come off easy and some must not, i took mine off before the s/c even went on the motor so maby that came into play also,
