Ok so who has ordered the HAHN kit??? I will probably get that kit, but doesnt anyone here have exact prices for me?? Or install times, i work at a Ford (ew i know) dealership and have plenty of tools at my expense, plus an entire saturday from 7:30 am to 8:00 pm to do the install...

i have it. i love it. the only reason im up this damn early is im going to get times for it today
kit is fairly easy to install but there are some parts that you really would benefit from some previous experience on. overall id say its about a 7 or 8 out of 10 level of difficulty just cause theres so much to do thats different to a non-boosted person like myself. oh and you'll need more than a saturday. it took us approximately 48-50hrs to do the install of the kit and some gauges I had. If you really fly through things i bet it could be done in 36-40hrs though.
I used to race cars, now I race myself.

Heh, ill just have to get it done then lol, i have a guy who supercharged his 2000 cobra who is going to help me with the install, plus a kid who turbo'd a civic he had. If worse comes to worse i can always take a day off and use the monday to finish it up.
Keep in mind im using a shop so the car will be on a lift, and i will be using mostly air tools to do the job. Did you do the install on the ground??? If so im hoping that using shop resources will cut the install times down a bit.
How much did you pay for the kit?

i bought all my parts and did it myself type peice by peice/junkyard turbo setup..hehe far from a hahn or a haas setup...anyways..if you can buy some of the stuff to help you along the ways and do some stuff little by little you should be ok...like buy your A-pillar and/or guages and put them in one weekend ...save some your time..and ytour car is still drivable..now i didnt install a intercooler on my car (yet) and it took us about 10-13 hours to complete.....we also had a garage and air tools etc; my brother works as a auto mechanic....now granted mine wasnt a kit so i assume it should be a little easier since all is there to work with???
Supriseingly we had to make ONE trip to the parts store just becuase i broke one of my 90 degree -4an earl's fitting whne putting it on my braided line for oil feed =(
we had to do alot of odds and ends crap too ..like put fittings on my turbo..reclock it a couple of times becuase it was off a little....cut my own intake pipeing...make some stuff work that wasnt in the game plan..i planed all this stuff from my bedroom where my computer was..and didnt have hands on experience to screw around with..so when i got EVERYTHING i bought over the internet to my bro's shop..some stuff didnt bolt up as i picture it in my mind.....
The moral of the story..if your buying a pre-made kit..it should take you a weekend to do it..just see what you have and what you might need when the kit comes in...and dont start untill you know for a fact you have absolutely EVERYTHING!! heh
Ok i think im just gunna order the RSM stage 1 s/c kit... seems to be the best thing out there so far for the price, plus im sure that would be MUCH easier to install than the turbo.
