is it possible that i could use a turbo off of a dsm if i want to run 8-10 psi on my LD9

Stock DSM turbo's are too small, for that much boost, the smallest turbo I would recommend in the Mitsubishi family is the Big16g

thanks. i am trying to build my own kit but i just want to get everything right the first time. What would be a good brand and size of turbo to run anywhere from 8-12 psi.

Most popular is the T3/04, A/R's in the 50's, Trim in the high 50's to low 60's.

Thanks much. could u fill me in on some of the small things that i need for building my kit. I know most of the stuff. Some things im not for sure on like tricking the computer to not see boost and etc.

yeah i was gonna say, dsm turbos are puny little buggers, i wouldnt waste my time trying to fab one to fit a cavalier.

DSM Turbo's tend to last a bit longer. In your case I would go with an Evo3 16g... works well at the boost you are looking at.. but will also carry you up to 23 to 24 psi if need be

DSM turbos last long and will definately deliver what you need even if you put there smallest turbo on!!
