I was wondering if wrapping the header and down pipe help keep boost levels down, but increase the efficiency of a supercharger...? I know exhaust wrap is suppose to keep engine bay temps down, but I was thinking that if you can help keep the heat in the tubing that it will also help move the gases out of the exhaust faster and be able to push it out of the chamber faster. Just a thought, but wouldn't mind some input.
I didn't really think so, just a drunk thought I had last night. Honestly I have never really heard anyone say exhaust wrap helped them in any noticeable way, except appearance wise.
after I wrapped my header I DEFINITELY noticed a difference in the heat that would come off it. I tested this merely by hand feel but im sure if you had a thermal testing device you could as well.
RIP silver car. You will be missed.
