has anyone tried the ssqv adapter on thier saab turbo? just wondering if the ssqv bov works correctly mounted on the turbo?
Blow off valves dont get mounted onto the turbo
running rich? turn the boost up
^^The stock saab one is. It is integrated into the housing.
the saab one is actually a bypass valve.
turbofire is correct tho any info about a bov you want it mounted as close to the tb as possible
My bad...when i bought parts for my saab setup..new "bypass valve" it was called a bov.
You can use an ssqv as a bypass valve, very common with the Subaru guys
Why wouldn't you use the mopar block off plate and run a external bov??????
i mad my own alumium block off but this is an ssqv flange that replaces the stock valve on the turbo... so it would mount the ssqv on the snout of the turbo...
As I stated, you will need a bypass valve kit that adapts the ssqv to a bypass valve
