L67 series I 3800 used a mp62.. Can we use the tb on the l61 to mp62??

Just read and saw some l67 series 1 tb bolted directly to a mp62 charger. Has anyone tried this tb on a l61 ecotec?

it does bolt to a M62 charger but it does this because the 3800 series 1 is an M62 and NO there not the same all they share in common is that there M62s

You will need a TB adapter to run any tb besides the one intended for it. The only TB that would bolt directly to the ecotec m62 would be the intended lsj TB (which won't work for you since it's electronically driven, not cable). Like Nota2.4 said, there are different variations/series of m62s (and for it's worth...m45s, m90s, etc), and they're all designed differently from one another. Check out a place called Custom Built Motors, they have an eBay store, pretty sure they still make m62 to l61 adapters.

They do, but they do not fit correctly. I believe there are a few posts on the subject.

Let's try this again. The l67 tb WILL NOT bolt to a m62 intended for an ecotec. You need an adapter specifically for our platform's m62 to mate with your stock tb..or whateve tb you choose..like in my case I'm running an ls1 tb via adapter. The ONLY...I repeat ONLY tb that bolts right to the m62 blower that we use would be the lsj tb's which do not work for our cars.

Easy way to put it, forget about anything L67, it won't fit
