Vacuum and Boost

What do you guys do about vacuum operated devices such as the fuel pressure regulator, vacuum for the brake booster, and HVAC door actuators with boost? What needs to be done to not damage these devices and keep them operating correctly? Inline check valves?

well most of the time when people boost the fuel reg. is replaced with a adjustable regulator, which are also rising rate fuel regulators. brake booster already has a check vavle on it as far as hvac not sure becuase i dont run that but you could run a check vavle to be on the safer side.

The stock fpr is fully open at 0 vacuum and stays fully open at any amount of boost. No clue on how the vents work though mine just stay closed. (No AC on a summer nice day only car)

When will you be in boost and need to hit the brakes without taking your foot off the gas? And when will you be trying to adjust your hvac knobs while in boost?

This is true, I used to think the same thing but my friend turboed his sunfire and everything seems to be working fine.

Stock FPR is a rising rate regulator. It adjusts the fuel pressure to be consistent with manifold pressure. So as manifold pressure goes up "x" PSI, fuel pressure goes up "x" psi to have the same flow rate. If it didn't, then the actual rate of fuel delivery would change between vacuum, 0 PSI, and full boost.
