Would be worried about rain.
Sen many cars with this, but usually race cars, or very limited street cars.

I think it's pointless unless the car makes a ton of power, and only see's track days...
you could put a rain cap on it, hahah
I have seen a couple street cars with a flapper on the hood dump before.
i plan on putting a flap on it and becausse its different

i'd be concerned with soot and crap getting on the car and it being super DUPER loud.
race car status only IMO.
my buddy has a white civic, always has a black streak down the hood lmao

im not very concerned with the soot and the louder the better!

I could see if this was a full out drag car, but on the street I would just laugh at you.
Why not just call it good and do a cutout right after the downpipe?
Ooh! Put a tractor tinger on it!

i think this sorta thing is just ridiculous, unless your one of the top maybe 5% of power on the road at any time, otherwise u just look like a poser. Theres a 67 camaro in my town that it done to the tits, but its allowed because the thing runs like 8s
its not going to be like a tractor hinge or tractor tractor flap. its going to be flush with the hood and the same color so its not going to be sticking out or be gotty or anything

Kinda like the idea(shrugs)...any pics?

i got it done last week, i like the look of it and it amazes anyone who sees it at night. the pipes diameter is 1 7/8 and the hole in the hood is 2" so there is no large gap, it sits flush with the hood, and as of right now i just put a glove on it when i want it covered
