Feeler: Intake Manifold

Revshift is interested in producing an aluminum intake manifold with velocity stacked and tapered runners for the LD9. This would most likely run around $480 in a group purchase and a little more for the regular anytime purchasers. Who's interested?

can he also get 2.3 flanges, or is a 2.4 only? Im still debating if I want to stick with a 250 HP 2.3 or maybe go for more.

Not bad pricing, how many are needed or a gp?

i dont see any type of velocity stack on that manifold, also might want to double check with a cav owner about that runner length we dont have that much room compared to alero/grand ams

Hello,
The first picture is during mock-up before the velocity stack fillets were added. If you look at the sixth picture you can clearly see the fillets.
The runners are six inches long and the overall depth from the head flange to the back of the manifold is right around ten inches.

^^^ I am the Revshift fabricator, btw. Excuse the name, I am used to vbulletin forums.

There are a few xceeders here who will know who you are.

2.3L flanges should be no problem. The L61 could be a future plan, but let's keep this to the 2.3/2.4 for now. Revshift's a fabricator, pretty much whatever you want, can happen. Different throttle body accomodations can be made (LS1 TB comes to mind).. The usual 10 person group would likely suffice.

Turbo manifolds are a likelihood too if enough interest is in those... here's a few samples of the exhaust side of things:

I dont see 10 people, maybe if it were a gp for eco and quad manifolds. Any discount if you provide your own flange?

Too bad you dont have a j-body, I realy want an auto turbo header

We can get a hold of a j-body to verify fitment and make any necessary changes. Although, I am confident there will be no fitment issues.

There are several in the area.

Side note. Damn, knew you were close but didnt know you were in the same city as me.

on a side note, revshift, your products look amazing. good work.

Did he find a donor J to test fitment on?

Any idea what the cost would be to make it with a 2.3 flange instead?

How much room do you have from the head to whatever's in front of the header panel that you would hit? Mine has a decent amount of space between it still, so I assume it would fit the J without issue. Stop by sometime and we'll check it out to make sure.

Get a flange drawing for us and Revshift could offter the option for the 2.3L with the same price.

Will likely offer multiple throttle body choices as well (LS1 etc.)

I will have to see what I can come up with for a flange dimensions. i have a 2.3 manifold and several gaskets. im still a long ways away from needing one though.

If its okay could you PM me where the shop is located? I wouldnt mind bringing a J by just so you guys have a measurement.
