Tial F38 w/ 3.9lb spring
Wednesday, November 18, 2009 12:56 AM
Does anyone know where I can get one of these (legit) for a decent price? After this I still need to run a 3" straight pipe exhuast and get my oil feed/return/drain lines and then have Steve @ ecotec-tuning.com tune my car... again! So the cheaper I can get this waste gate and spring for, the better! Feel free to post links in your responses and help me find a good deal on here! (Not going with ebay, not when it comes to boost. I don't drive a Honda. haha)

yea, good luck with that mail order tuning garbage.

I can't find it on their website now, but apparently you hook your car up to the internet and they tune it remotely? give me a break.. what horse sh.t.

and just as an aside.. how do you know you hit 143mph if your speedo only goes up to 110? you must have been going downhill.

LOL no I was matched with my friends C6 Vette. Speed limiter is at 200mph so I'll never see it! And no I personally know Steve at ecotec-tuning.com and live close to him.

Oh yeah. The way the tuning works I believe is either he or one of the tuners from the company will fly to you and tune your vehicle, or you have the option of mailing in your ECM along with the list of mods you have (In full description) to be tuned.

pretty sure I saw on that website a few days ago that they're going to be doing remote tuning via the internet?

good luck with that.

That I'd have to ask Steve about on how that'd all work. But yeah you're right, that does sound a lil weird. Anyway, how's your lil silver bullet of a Cavi comin? Haven't seen any updates on your youtube page so I'm a little behind!

is that air to water setup? sweet deal.

my car will be back on the ground by this weekend I get the last part I'm waiting on tomorrow, but the engine won't be running till spring time. I'll have a massive update as soon as I get it on its feet, trust me.

How much do you want for it? Which spring is it exactly?

And yes PJ, that'd be a coolant res that took AMMfab (Mike) literally ten minutes to make, not kidding. Can't wait for the update bro!

Hell yeah man I'm very interested in this. How much are you wanting for it all together (WG and spring)? Also do you have any pics of it? What color is it?
Thanks by the way.

jmarks82 is legit. Just pay the man and get your item instead of waiting for a call to make you feel all fuzzy inside that you're going to get your item. My engine is built off a long block I bought off him at a helluva nice price. Did you PM him asking him to call you? Or do you have his phone number, and if so, why not try calling him? Maybe he doesn't know he's supposed to call you. People have lives.

No sir I do not have his phone number which is why I gave him mine a long time ago. Yes I know people have lives, as do I. Just saying my kit is waiting on this one last peice. Well knowing that he sold you parts in the past puts me more at ease no doubt, but I'd still like to know things like if he received payment, when he will be able to ship out, etc. This is why I gave him my cell number. (Understandable if he's on a holiday vacation, I'd be doing the same if I could)
