im jus doing a few last things to my 2.4 turbo swap b4 getn it running this summer. gota few questions tho. on the internal wastegate of a garrett turbo which of the 2 vacuum ports goes to the vacuum source and which one goes to the boost controller. the one on the wastegate bell closer to the exhaust or further? another thing is the exaust flange coming off of my turbo sits damn close to the water pump. has ne one else ran into problem and did u have ne problems w sum1 custom bending u exhaust. cuz i mean this @!#$ sits close! im guessin its jus cuz its a larger turbo. t3.t4 hybrid 60 trim stage 3 wheel. input pleaze and thank u
I'm very familiar with garret Turbos but not quite sure which vacuum ports you're referring to as they can be different on with different models.
Do you have a picture of what you're talking about?
naw ill have to go out and take one. its jus the 2 vacuum ports that stick out on the wastegate bell. the goldish barrell lookin thing that the internal gate valve is hooked up to.

which manifold are you using with your 60 trim?

im using the 02 z24 manifold. she will def keep spoolin. quik boost but alot also. i took a few pics on the fone so ill b loadin um up soon. i talked to another guy around town and he said the port closer to the exhaust turbine is the vaccum and the and the further was for boost controller.
