Anyone notice the cost of the GMPP Ecotec S/c kit has gone up?

I bought mine from pace performance and i was fooling around on their site and notices the price jumped almost $600 i think. I got mine in august for $2,469.57 shipped. Nows its up to $3,011.93!! Holy hell...

The kit is cheaper to buy the one for the 2002 model as its $2,829.95 and you get a nice new fuel rail and injectors.

Just wow... I wonder if these have been flying off the shelves or something and they are trying to make another buck or two?

yea i noticed today because i am on the market for one and i'll be damn if its went up quite abit... me sad.... this sucks...

I doubt that anything car related has been flying off the shelf due to our recent/current economic decline. They have probably raised prices to account for more expensive raw materials. It just seems to me a raise of $600 is a little steep if they want to make a better profit lol.
