on the 2.2 supercharger kit, the intake manifold has a sensor on it, is that a map sensor????
Does the LSJ have 2 map sensors because there is another sensor on the supercharger itself that gets blocked off.
The one on the 2.2 Ecotec is called a TMAP sensor. It's a MAP/IAT sensor.
On the Cobalt SS/ Ion Redline, the sensor on top of the supercharger is a MAF sensor (Mass Air Flow).
What else do you want to know?
I have a LSJ intake I am going to put on there with the supercharger. I got them off of a cobalt and I am having trouble figuring out some of the wiring. The MAP sensor on the LSJ intake is different and I have the pigtail connector, but I dont know what to tie it to????
You need the wiring that hooks to your stock MAP sensor connector and the IAT sensor connector and then the other end hooks to the lsj MAP sensor on the intake manifold, I think I may have that wiring in my garage if your'e interested. Now for the MAF on the blower you can just leave it in if you want or you could put something else in it to plug the hole.
I am very interested in the wiring you have. Ill send you a PM to get it from you. So your saying that my factory MAP sensor and factory IAT are now going to both be measured from the LSJ map sensor?
