I know im going to get ripped on for this...But i am looking to turbo my eco 2.2 when i do the motor swap. I am looking to make in the 250hp range to begin with till my other engine is built. The final goal is in the 350-400 range. (wishful thinking hehe)
Mods that i will have when the engine is put in:
Airforced intake mani and 75mm tb
Fidanza flywheel
Spec stage 3+ clutch with lightned option
Md9 lightned alt pulley and crank when its out
TTR upper mount
RSM lower mount
TTR trans bushings
Team green lsd
Anyways im looking for something that will suport my current and future wants. Would a t3/t4 with a .63 ar work? or is there a better option? Also would 440 injectors be enough? and where is a good place to find them?.. Any help is appreciated..phil
im going to run 42.5 lb injectors on a t3/t4 57 trim .63 a/r. They are a little big for what im doing but i will be able to tune then down. but then again im not looking to hit a certain hp either.
yah im prolly going with the same turbo but i just cant figure out compressor maps or even a idea whats a good choice for my goals.
I used Accell 44 lb/hr injectors on my setup, and had everything tuned using HPtuners. Granted, they are more than I would ever need at 7 psi, but when I decide to get the car tuned for 10-12 PSI, I wanna have some room to play with.
BTW, the Accell part number for those injectors are p/n# 150144. And yes, they are high impedence as well.
Currently #4 in Ecotec Forced Induction horsepower ratings. 505.8 WHP 414WTQ!!!
Currently 3rd quickest Ecotec on the .org - 10.949 @ 131.50 MPH!!!
yah im going to try and find those..44lbers
