methanol = CH3OH = Alcohol
Methanol, also known as methyl alcohol, carbinol, wood alcohol, wood naptha or wood spirits, is a chemical compound with chemical formula CH3OH. It is the simplest alcohol

intresting..... lol never paid attention in class.... so theres really no "difference" between the two????? lol...
methanol is what people use to cool chargers, but there can be a difference in alcohols, the kind we drink.. not methanol, the kind under the sink to clean wounds or whatever.. not methanol
alright cause i found one kit that specifies methanol..... and the other just says alcohol.... so i wasnt very sure.... do you know of any good chemically cooling kits?? i've found snow performace(methanol one) and devilsown injection( just says alcohol)
i've been running meth injection for years now. I ran it on my Cav when I had the M45 on it and the 2.5" pulley and has very good results. That kit was a cooling mist kit and was very basic. I'm also running meth on the Cobalt and am using the DevilsOwn Progressive kit which works amazingly on the Cobalt to keep the IAT's very low. Snow makes a great kit but watch out as alot of their stuff is MAF based and isn't really usable on our j-bodies seeing there is no MAF. My personal recommendation is DevilsOwn if that helps. If you have any questions about meth injection feel free to ask i'd be glad to help. FYI you won't be killin my Cobalt

Check the Group Purchase section on this site. Devils Own has a good one going and it seems to be a really nice kit.
thanks everyone!!!! i checked the group purchase thing there was only 2 people....... devils own what kinda deal could ya get me... i check your pm's.....
snow performance has many different reference capabilities for their progressive injection units. They are not limited to MAF as a reference. Snow makes a very good quality system and they stand by it pretty well from my own experiences.
