after searching i was wondering if anyone has some sound clips and specs of their exhaust setup, i will be turbo'd shortly and have 2.5" mandrel already but i want to go 3" from the turbo back

i have full 3 inch exhaust no cat/muffler with a To4e Turbo.....its actually not as loud as i thought it would be and u can hear the turbo spool through the exhaust i love it ill get a sound clip tonight

does it resonate in the car at all, im trying to hopefully have it sound low and deep but have it not have any of the in cab noise
I don't have any sound deadening material from the front seats back in my car so it would be hard for me to give you a real answer.

its not all that loud without mufflers/cats in my opinion....its raspy yes but when sitting u can hear the turbo spool through the exhaust which always puts a smile on my face....i might put a resonator on myne but thats it

I have a 3" exaust including the down pipe. Just before the rear wheels I aded a custom Y connection, from one 3" pipe, into two 2.5" pipe's. Then I install two 2.5" flowmaster racing muffler. The sound is excelent, the flowmaster's do not transmit any aoying sound to the interior of the car but in the outside it sound very low and powerfull. I love it.
And all the piping is mandrell style and with no cat.
Sory that I don't have a vid to show you that, but you can trust what I say.
My car is producing 250 hp with 9 psi and stock internals, with no programable computer. So this setup of exaust is not restrictive at all.

it sounds deep and quiet and has no interior resonance and i have no deadening from the front seats back

It's a bit far away since it is a track run, but you get an idea of the sound.
wastegate is dumped to the atmosphere and not recirculated back into the exhaust.
2.5inch downpipe, 3inch rest of the way back, Apex'i N1 muffler (turbo version), no catalytic convertor.
