My friend has a 89 Supra. He wants to buy my XSpower turbo I mentioned in my forum before. I told him if i could make use of it I would take his stock turbo off his hands. Would it work with my eco if i found some way to attach it to my log style manifold?
Why dont you just buy a good turbo man? If your taking the time to do it, do it right

Maybe I missed it in the the FAQ's but Im not understanding what size turbo I would need? I dont get how the sizing goes? Im just tryin to find a stock turbo b/c I know it would be smaller than a stage 3. I just want to know what size everyone would recommend me getting so I can stopping dicking around....
Stages mean jack in the real world man.
The only thing "stages" represent are how many parts your kit comes with.
Im not trying to be mean, but do A TON of research before buying anything, you have a whole lot to learn before you go any further. Even buy some books, I.E. Maximum boost.
Theres no such thing as "bolt on and go" when it comes to turbos

the CT- 26 is a garbage turbo. trust me, I've owned a mk III supra turbo
the flange is nothing off the shelf.. its a turbo made by toyota, so you'd specifically have to find a toyota flange for it.. the only place i'd know of to get one is off of a supra manifold. you could make one, but most T3s are more efficient than the CT could ever hope to be. This is turbo technology from the 80s.. things have come a long way since then.
they run out of breath very quickly on a 3.0 liter in line 6, and on a 4 banger they'd be slightly better off...
but if you're going thru all the trouble of putting a turbo on the car, get one thats properly sized instead of a retrofit from another vehicle.
especially since CT26s are not known to be efficient or tough.
But hey if you can actually get your buddy to take that POS XS off your hands...more power to ya!
