Saab low pressure turbo?

I called a local junk yard about a price on a Saab turbo off of 2003 9-3. The turbo was listed as low pressure. What does this mean?

It's not meant to really increase the power output of the engine as much as smooth out the powerband. The turbo kicks in at a mere 1950 to 2200 rpm (depending on model), and maintains an almost flat torque curve at 155 to 170-ish lbs/ft all the way up to 5500rpm or so.

So when I am looking around for the turbos, would it be better to buy a low or high pressure turbo?

The low pressure garret saab turbo engine is rated at 175 hp.
The high output mitsu turbo engine is rated at 210 hp.

The low pressure turbo has a noticibly smaller compressor housing.
