ok heres the qustion. i have a brand new walbro 190 for a 95-99 eclipse gst i ordereback when i had my eclipse. can i use it for my 97 Z. because that would be awesome if i dont have to buy a new pump and leave myself stuck with this one . if anyone knows let me know thanks.

It seems like most people who upgrade their fuel pump go with the Walbro 255. I'm not an expert, but I assume the 190 is too small becaue nobody uses it.
Sell off your 190 and go with the 255.
no the 255 is to much flow from the post that i have read. once you get done to a half tank the car will die with the 255 the 190 should be fine or stock ones only put out i think 67gph 190 is a grand pre gtp pump or it might be 175.
the one you have might not go right in, there is a specific one for your car im sure... i would sell the one you have and get the right one, or check to see if its the same part number, which i doubt...
i have heard the same thing about the 255l being to much.... i might go with the 190 as well

well i know its a different part number because it was for my gst. ive checked the number and they are different i didnt know if they were the same size and i could find a way to use ti because i knwo i wont get what i payed for it and its still in the box : -(
