While my car is still broken, and wont be fixed this year, I decided to upgrade the downpipe from 2.5" to 3" and add an electric cutout so I can still run my full 2.5" for street use.
I got the new DP all tacked up last night. I still need to add the Y just in front of the cutout for the path to the rear.
I am also going to just dump the wastegate outlet this time.
First a pic of what I am taking out (pic is from when it was new, I didnt take a recent one)
And then a couple of the new progress so far.
I still have to make the Y for the connection to the rear exhaust. Its going to merger in where the little oval is drawn between the last vband and the cutout.
More to come.

Looks sweet Dan. The v-bands are a nice touch.
p.s. Turboes make a great muffler, forget about the Y-pipe and the rear exhaust

got the Y section tacked up last night. I had to modify my rear pipe just a little to make things work. Now I just need to get it all welded up solid and out comes the motor.

Ya, it probably wont flow great when closed but I figure Id rather have super straight when open / somewhat restricted closed rather than not so great when open / a little less restricted closed.
When I want to mash on it I just gotta flip a switch.
Maybee I could work up a circuit that connects to the TPS so that (if I want) it will open farther and farther as the pedal is depressed. hmm....
