I am going to be picking up a TO4E 50 trim and am having a hard time figuring out what mix and match of a/r's i want. I would like your opinions and explinations of why. This will be going on the 2.0 LSJ motor shooting for 400 hp, it will be turbo only and will be externally gated. Thanx for any input at all.
The choices are:
-.50 or .60 A/R Compressor Housing
-.48, .63 or .82 A/R Turbine Housing Option
-Stage 1, 2 or 3 Turbine Wheel
-Internal Wastegate Option (.48 A/R Housing Only)
.60 a/r compressor housing, .63 a/r turbine housing, stage turbine wheel is a mistory. But something to consider ... a larger turbine trim will catch more air i would look into a 60 trim if possible.
50 trim is a very good choice, and I agree w/ the .63 turbine (been proven to 400+whp) and .60 compressor. It's what I'm going with on my build

t3/t04b 0.60 50 trim compressor 0.63 turbine is super hot. Just big enough so you can drive your car normally, and small enough it boosts around 3000-3200 if you want it too...

Ok, I have found a company offering a T04E 60 a/r comp, 63 a/r, turbine with a stage 3 wheel rebuilt for just under 500. It is a Garrett. Does this sound about right. I'm wanting to do this right and not cheap out on the turbo. If theres any other places that you suggest please let me know. thanx

I am having a small issue with my turbocharger now... when we get it sorted out I will let you know and it'll save you about 50 bucks for that t3/ t04e... PM, I will find out tomorrow what is going to happen with my issue.
