you dont have to remove the head, only that coilpack cover
you tap off the stock oil pressure sensor port.
if you boost it anf use hpt run some rc550s or bigger and if you choose a gay route such as a fmu or extra injector controller, the stockers will be fine withthe added supplementary injectors mounted in the charge pipe.

Do I need to remove the head to tap it for a turbo? My friend said I needed to do it, just was wondering.
Also what injecotors should I use if im were to boost a LD9?
What exactly are you tapping??? If you are bolting on a turbo kit you do not have to remove the head.

im 100 percent sure he was asking where to full a oil source for his oil feed line.
where is the best place for the oil feed line??? right now im still looking for a good spot... the only kind of good spot ive found is the one where my EGR blockoff plate is. the only problem with that is that i have to thin that plate out a little bit to make the fitting screw on there and even to slide the plate on there.... anyone else have a better spot for it, or easier???
stock oil pressure sender.
Mike,
If you have an ECO, then yes, the 2 ports by the EGR block plate will be the best (and easiest) ones to tap for oil. Just keep in mind that you may need a 1/8 NPT oil restrictor to keep your turbo from spewing oil all over the place. Some people don't use the oil restrictors, some do, but being safe with engine stuff is always the best route unless you like to throw money away. Also when you use the star tool to loosen one of the oil ports, be sure to tap the bit in there gently. Otherwise you will strip the @!#$ out of it because aluminum = soft.
E-mail me if you need more tips! I'm not a certified expert with turbocharged applications, but I definitely know much more than your backyard mechanic.
