With my larger injectors in my car, it is way rich at idle and idles like crap and doesn't run good until like 3000 RPM. I already tried an AFPR, the one from Summit for the LT1 but I had it go out on me. I have a Begi 2025 and I know that can control base pressure. Is there any easier way to remove or bypass the stock FPR other than taking it out and tapping the hole with pipe thread or something?? I hate to do that just in case I decide to go back to an AFPR. I was thinking something the same diameter of the FPR that culd slip in there, and then tap that instead of the rail. Any ideas??

Where exactly do you drill so it doesn't hold pressure?

why not get fpr part from hahn ?
its used in the eco kit , and should work with the 2.4 , you just have to make sure the 90 fitting you use will clear the timing cover
You need this:
A buddy of mine and I make them, there precision cut on the lathe and replace the Stock FPR.
IF you need one message me and Ill get you a price.
Oh yea here is an installed pic:
No offense Spydar but that plate looks anything but precision cut. It's bent to hell and has ragged edges. Looks more like something that was cut out of a bigger sheet with a cutoff wheel then smoothed a little on a belt sander. Once again though....no offense, just an observation.
The rest is basically what Hahn uses....they just dont use a fitting like that shown.

Lol the Fitting itself is precision cut, not the securing plate, it was accualy cut with a punch, the hole that the fitting passes through is drilled then the 2 back corners are bent down to keep the fitting centered.
pretty neat idea

Ah ok. I was like "WTF...he wants us to think THAT'S precision?" LOL. Good deal though.

on the 2.4 you still gotta worry about the 90 becasue of the timing chan housing
hahn's version uses a machine clamp to hold it
suprised hypsy , wasnt pimpin it with pics
lol
I would but my piece is sitting 15 miles away with the car. Maybe I'll see if I can find a picture or get one Monday.

Are you talking about a complete FPR from Hahn or do you mean a piece like Spyder showed that just eliminates the FPR? And how much does it cost??

I believe it costs $20 or $30. it's 2 CNC machined pieces. I'll try and get a picture when I can.

similar to what spyder is showing
Hypsy, if you get get some pics that would be awesome.
Can I order it online from Hahn, or do I have to call them. Is there a part number for it?
Also, just to clarify, the Begi 2025 CAN manage base pressure, correct?

You can just order it from me LOL. I do sell all the HRC parts.
Yes the 2025 can set base pressure. It's what I've been using to set mine.

SpyderWizard's looks alot like what I made for my 2.4, to fit my Aeromotive FPR.
Not to try and keep Hypsy from making a sale, but if SpyderWizard's piece is cheaper (which it prolly is), I'd go with that one.......

Hypsy, any update? SpyderWizard's looks a bit long and am not sure if it will clear the timing cover on my 2.4 The picture he has of it is on a Ecotec.
