this is for a car im building and i just happen to be using one of the 2 engines just not sure yet cuz ii dont ave any performance #s. id like to keep budget down for now so that why i need to know if i can use stock engine, maybe just rebuilt. sorry for the inconvienence
there are so many factors when it comes to hp rating, so no one is going to be able to tell you exactly what you want
with the 2200 (non eco 2.2) jtuners put out like 181hp on 8psi with their kit on a customers car. there is a couple people putting down 200+hp on different set ups and more boost.
i put down 127whp with my homemade setup 4 psi, a small t3 and a 3 spd auto
the eco is deffiantly a better engine out of the 2 and is easier to make more power stock, can also handle more stock
