Eco S/C after reflash problem!
Thursday, July 13, 2006 10:19 AM
i have had this problem since the day i reflashed it but i thought i just broke my gauges when i was removing my overlays. My speedo now reads 10 miles an hour slow. Did anyone else have this happen. I know its not the cluster cause i put my spare in and it did the same thing. So what do you think?

i can get pics if you guys want

no problems like that here

although my g/fs speed limiter was at 105 before , and now is at 108 , i figured it was a error in her stock pcm calibration

if you know some one with a scan tool that will read pcm data , you might want to see if the pcm is showing 10mph sitting still , the VSS sends a signal to the PCM , and the PCM to the IPC(gauge cluster)

you didnt wire anything in any where when you did the s/c did you ? if so id undo that wiring just to see if its not causing some feedback making it sit at 10mph

Nothing here with mine as well...still reads the same mph. That's odd. I'd say do the scan tool thing and see what it says.

Eh...old man with a Corvette now...it was bound to happen sooner rather than later right?

Mine is still operating exactly the way it was. I even have the GPS to match against and even my top speed is still the same. odd that you guys notice a difference.
