Well??
Whats the word? Have you dynoed it? Run it at the track yet? anything? Interested to see if its actually going to be practical/word forcing a turbo into a limited spinning s/c that the m45 is (with a 3.0 pulley u have...3-4psi?).

nate, as far as i know from talking with him, he is taking it to edmonton shortly to get it tuned with hp tuners, power #'s should be up soon
Tuning date is july 28th.... would have been done along time ago if derek would have sold me a proper working turbo kit... i threw that entire kit i bought from him out.. and made my own... so soon i hope...

i know i have no buisness with this thread but was wondering how you actually pull it off. you have the turbo spooling from exhaust gases, forcing air through a intercooler, to the supercharger which then will compress it more and force it into the engine? when happens when you over boost on the turbo and not enough boost for the s/c? lack of power because the s/c cant push that much in? how do you know it would be equal as in have the turbo set perfect to the point the s/c can handle it to get the max power? guess and check? ive been fasinated with this but no one really ever talks to a "newbie"
Wow, still crying over that turbo kit, lol!

it would be like a semi truck with sequential turbos.
the supercharger would boost all the time though, and low boost, maybe 5 times ambient air pressure or less.
then the turbo spools up and boost 5 times, or less, to get 25 times, or less, more then ambient air pressure. i read an article about a truck setup with sequential turbos. its done to give boost on low rpms where a large turbo would lag, and to give lots of boost at higher rpms where a smaller turbo wouldnt be effective enough. it beats making a choice between a big or small turbo, and with a supercharger, atleast there is a little bit of boost all the time. even at idle, so you get that cool little whistle. and a scream, then a sneeze.
lol whistle scream sneeze nice wording! and thanks! ill let this get back to subject!

how the @!#$ am i still crying over it.. i said its not tuned due to having every weld crack on me... obviously it still bugs you that people are talking about the twin charged set up... all i @!#$ said was its not tuned yet and gave the reason why... so if you have nothing better to say other then complain about every thing i say why do you bother coming and posting...

LOL, it bugs me that people are talking about your car? Get over yourself, seriously.
I just find it funny that you are still complaining about him. Its been months and you've made countless posts bashing him, yet you still won't give it up. I find that funny, no more no less.

funny how that one dude's only post was this one. at least in the last 30 days.
wow you must feel really proud of yourself. calling us ricers and all. I'm sure I'll lose some sleep over this.
Nice work josh. I'm personally not expecting miracles but this is some good work. I appreciate some damn good work.
good job.
yeah. keep us updated man. sorry you had a bad experience with that turbo manifold. hope everything goes well.. and post #s when u get it.

.
What can I say there hasn't been anything to post lately.
If you have talked to Josh before, you can get a sense that the only work his or his dad will do is nice work. Look at his car, everything is meticulous. Nice Josh, cant wait for you to get it tuned, I want to see the Mt. Everest like powerband, then move onto a smaller pully, you said you only spin through 3 gears now, bet you cant roast through all 5
ya know what i tend to stay out of bickering, but calling him a ricer is retarded. I don't know all the facts but at least he is trying something new to my knowledge. And if he gets it all tuned properly and it works and makes decent power then you'll look like an idiot. And if it fails well then at least he had the balls to give it a try and prove it won't work. But honestly there is no reason why it won't work. sure it's alot of time, money and effort but so what he likes it.
if no one tried anything like this there would be no progress at all.
this is one of the biggest reasons why people give up on their cars. because if putting a twin charger setup on a car is ghetto and ricey then i suppose you expect a jet engine in the car? i mean really if you are gonna post something so stupid then at least give some reasons for it.
i mean i am deffinately not gonna lose sleep over it either but come on some of the stuff that rides around and this is rice? i sinceserely hope it was a joke or just to stir the pot.

Josh,
They are just hating. Don't listen to them.
Anyway, I 'm picking up my supercharger by the end of the week. Maybe even tomorrow, before I go to work. I ended up getting the Eaton M62.
I'm thinking about ordering a bigger pulley for the supercharger. Have you done that by anychance? Which one did you get if you have? I need you to pm me. I have an Eco, so I think the pipe routing to the turbo is going to be different. Is there any other pitfalls I should watch for? You didn't just bolt it on, right? I'm ordering HP Tuners, so I think that will help. Let me know what's up.
yeah josh is tryin the setup, so if you ain't got the money or skills to do it then keep your trap shut. Sure some of you put out great power with your set ups but its just the same things over and over just different ways of tuning it. How bout not razzing someone who has the nuts to try something different. Grow the @!#$ up ppl and maybe just see what happens, if it works, it works and i'm sure ppl will try it out on their cars, if not then it was proved that twin charging just isn't meant for a jbody. I give props out to everyone and anyone thats original and has the balls to try something different instead of being another lemming.

i'm pretty sure its bugs him less that people are talking about it than it bugs him how we keep hearing how great it works yet still haven't seen a dyno or a timeslip....
