Clocking the turbo for install

i have a 05 cavalier i pieced my turbo kit together. I have a exploited manifold ( sorry i have to say it sucks everytime i talk about it. so it sucks) and a 60 trim from atp.
exploited made the manifold with the flange off center to the drivers side of the car.

Yes. Thats the way i ask for it i heard you would have fitment issues without it off center.

Anyway my Q is. I would like to have my compressor towards the driver side and the exhaust side to the passenger side of the car. I wont to run the charge pipes under the car. But with the compressor pointing down
It hits the left side of the water pump. I need to at least another inch or two. Has anyone had this problem before.
If so what did you do.
Thats just the way i wanted it. I'm not dead set on it this way so if anyone has a better option please let me know.

If you need any other info. please let me know

Thanks for you help.

The compressor hits the water pump? How ? If you have the compressor facing the drivers side, it should be pretty far away from the pump, the only thing I could see it hitting is the hard line. If it were over far enough to hit the water pump, there's no way the exhaust side would clear the timing chain housing...

When I designed my header I had two main goels, to have the flange center and the conpressor on the drivers side. I managed to do this by straying away from the traditional log design and moving the turbo out an extra inch. I then clocked the turbo so the outlet faces up. My intake runs under the brake boster and my charge pipe runs up and over the area between the valve cover and the brake booster.

shifted. The water pump in on the right side of the motor but it has a hard pipe going all the way over to the
left side and the heater core hose comes out above where my turbo is hitting. Sorry my wording was off.

livid do you make manifolds.? Thanks for the help.

And when i say right or left. i speaking as if i were in the car.

I do. Not many, mostly just on an as needed basis. Although right now my big project is getting the cnc machine running so I can cut my own flanges. I should see if I have any pictures of the one on my car, it should fit a t3/t4 (I haven't had chance to try yet) and is set up for an external wastegate. The only hard this is the intake pipe. With a 3" intake pipe it's a insanly close fit and every now and then i get minor rubbing on the brake booster (although I plan to fix that). When I had a 2.5" intake it was fine. One thing i did that really helped was I made a custom bracket for the distribution block . The stock one is redicuously big and by gettign rid of it you have alot more room for piping. I actually want to make a version with an attachment for the clutch res but don't have the time right now.

well i think I'm stuck. I've tried every way i could think of . I put the compressor on the left and then i re-clocked the
turbo and put the compressor on the right.

When i put it on the left it hits the left pipe coming from the water pump.
When i put it on the right the external wastegate wont fit.

Any more suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Thanks for all the help.

Sounds like the same situation I had when installing NJHK's turbo system. He has an ecotec as well but used a CCfab manifold. I ended up buying two external wastegate flanges and some tubing and I made a pipe that relocated it elsewere.

Thanks for all the help. everyone.

But i have e-mailed hrprowelding. And to my surprise They are more than willing to help me out.
They said they would be happy to replace my manifold . We will see what happens.

I never said anything bad about the service i got from Brian and them. Just that i was unhappy with the manifold.
I guess they have changed their ways. That means alot to me.

I will let everyone know what happens in the end.
