what is the difference between that and a standard 270 degree thrust bearing. Cause im curious if it is better for the turbo and If it would fit my turbo which had a standard thrust bearing in it

Call These guys - they can tell ya for sure...

1-800-231-5566 - Majestic Turbo

I just had my T3/T04e rebuilt by them.
They said that it has a 360 degree thrust bearing...

According to their website, "For increased durability, 360 degree thrust bearings are a standard component on all T04E & T04B series turbochargers"

Hope this helps...

360 thrust bearings reduce the chances of compressor/turbine wheel to housing contact due to high axial loads under high boost situations.

In other words, it's a durability mod that's highly recommended if you are going to push the limits of your turbocharger. If you're going to stay in the single digits for boost, you don't really need it. Anything higher, and it should prove to be a valuable option.
