Pulley Boys Pulley for GM LD9 S/C

I was looking into getting a smaller pulley for my Supercharger, How much boost should i expect with the 2.5" pulley? Would that be too much? Also, if i were to get this kit, would i only have to get the pulley boys quickchange set? Or would i have to get something else also? It looks like the quickchange set has everything for it, am i right? http://pulleyboys.com/gm24l.html

yes, buy the quikchange setup with the hub and installer and such and you can choose which pulley you get for free and then you can get another pulley for like $60 from what i can remember, they are a great company

i believe to run the 2.5 you will require a shorter belt.

as well 2.5" pulley i personal see as useless... 1 you are spining it WAY WAY! past the recomended RPM for the supercharger as well roots superchargers when spun to much past their suggested RPM become very unstable and crack boost spikes occur... as well i bet you you will get no more power from a 2.6" to a 2.5" and if you do it will be very small...
get the 2.6" and run alky and that should be good for 9-10psi.... with the occational spike up to 11 or 12psi as i saw with mine...

The First Twin Charged jbody
blue car (R.I.P) - 240whp @7psi..
silver car - 305whp 315lbs.tq @15psi (91 Octane) or 420whp & 425lbs.TQ @20psi (94 octane+Alcohol Injection)
All dynos run on a Mustang dyno

^agreed

im running the 2.6 with alky and continually see 9 psi and when it gets cooler (night time) i get spikes up to 12 psi as well

if you go 2.6, you should also think about getting a new fuel pump, fuel injectors, and alcohol injection. i also think 2.5 is a little too far.

what size injectors would you advise? Also new fuel pump as in a heavier duty than stock, or in addition to stock? Also thinking about going the 2.6" pulley after my build.

I have a 2.6 inch pulley for pulley boys I need to get rid of quick, 55$ shipped for anyone who wants it.

I have the 2.6 inch embree on my car, JE forged pistons and eagle rods, 320cc injectos, cartech FMU, alky kit and adj FPR. I am doing fine and others have done the same. I have heard the 2.5 does nothing more than the 2.6, you are spinning the SC past its limits.
