Fuel pump problems

I'm running one of Hahn's Stage 2 kits on my 03 Cav, recently replaced my in-line fuel pump that was included in the turbo kit with a Walbro 225 in-tank fuel pump. The reason why I replaced it with a 225 from Walbro was because I asked the techs at Hahn what they would recommend for and in-tank to replace the in-line. Plus my in-line has one Canadian winter under its belt and countless kilometers.

My problem is that I bought a 225 from e-bay that came with an Intergra application kit. But that didn't matter because all I wanted was the pump and the harness.

But since I installed the pump I've been running really lean, basically the pump is only putting out 90 psi tops. Now, is there a hi-flow and a low-flow 225 ? and if there is, where do I get a hi-flow version of it ? ex: part numbers and suppliers. Basically I need a pump that will be able to put out at least 130 psi maximum. Because the kit requires a pressure of 90-95 psi at boost pressure.

Thanks guys
Evan

Two things:

1 - You really shouldn't be running injectors over 80-90 psi let alone 130.

2 - A fuel pump over 100 psi is working pretty hard. These pumps are high VOLUME pumps, not high pressure...

At least this is what i understand about the fuel system.

Slowly but surely may some day win this race...

When you put the intank pump in , Did you use the flex hose (available from http://www.autoperformanceengineering.com)
