I just want to know about putting a turbo in. Is there a point where the miles are too high and the engine is too used to put a turbo in for fear of blowing the engine or something?
It's hard to say. You can blow a brand new motor with boost if you don't know what you're doing. I boosted my 3.1 when it had over 120K miles on it, ran fine on 6 or 8psi, but when I turned it up I started to break stuff. Some guys are running 8 or 10 psi on 100K mile motors with no problems, some have blown the motors to pieces. It all depends on the engine's condition, how it was maintained, all sorts of things.
There are some concerns with a high milage car. Make sure your fueling system is adequate and replace the normal things (fuel filter, injector o-rings) you WOULDN"T do building a low milage turbo system. You also want to do a compressiona and leak down test on your engine to see if it need a rebuild... After that you are fine.
I would be more worried about turboing a high spoiler car as it might fly away.

^ word, I'd warn him, but apparently I'm not a moderator today
Judging by the appearance of your car, I'd say it can handle 30 psi from a T2, or a 200 shot of nitrous. Or maybe even both (let's help put this one out of it's misery lol).
