hey not sure if its been answer previously or what but im building my motor for a turbo and wondering if i do all the internal goodies pistons, head work, gaskets, injectors, etc would i be able to run like that for a few monthes until i can slap the trubo kit on? would you see increase or decrease in power anything other then a gain at thjis point i might as well walk my biggest concern would be running large injectors and a high flow in tank fuel pump without having forced induction would that casue some unwanted issues? ps compression 8:9:1

Well, thats kind of a hard question to answer. Will you be safe? Yes, why not, since you just built it to take more punishment. Plus the fact that with bigger injectors and a new pump the most you can do is run it a little richer. You might have worse gas milage, but thats part of having a turbo anyway. So might as well get use to it. I dont know what you compression is stock but if you lowered the compression it will drive worse than before because you effectively lowered the torque output. If you raised the compression your not going to induce any more wear than the turbo itself could cause.
