I was wondering where I can get a new Gen-2 Map sensor for My supercharger Kit? (besides a dealership they want $325.CDN funds) and if I buy the megasqruit can I use the MAP sensor from this FMU?

I think your refering to the 2 Bar Map sensor. And I got mine from the dealer for $50 brand new. You won't need megasquirt if your running the 2 Bar Map sensor and Reflash because those two items basically do what the megasquirt does.

Well if you are referring to the GM 2 Bar MAP sensor for the superchargers then yes it was $50 from my dealer here in Colorado. If you would like we might be able to work out a way for me to sell one to you....Let me know! And the quote for the reflash in my area is about $70.

Damn, I went to my dealer and they are asking 255.00 USD for the 2 bar map. And I have a Connection in the dealership to get it reflashed for free..... 50 dollars?! Can i send em money and can they send me one?! I dont understand because the 2bar map is outta the GMperformanceparts Dept and they quoted me 255.... Lemme know

Hey that part # cant be correct because I just went on GMPartsdirect.com and it came up as $38.71 and GM list 77.42. I went to my local dealership and they called GMperformanceparts and quoted me 255.00 for the map that comes with the S/C Kit. I dunno i'll call them and get the part number for the map that comes with the S/C Kit. BRB
Well I did A quick search and I found a GM 3-Bar map. I dunno if that would werk or not But alotta Turbo'd DSM's are using this GM 3bar map. Anyone know about this? The Part #12223861. GMPartsdirect Price is 57.24 List 114.00. I'm still tryin to find the part # for the 2bar map. Anyone who knows anything about this 3bar put your input in!!!
the 3 bar map will not work because your computer reflash is only set up to read 2 bar
if you search around you'll find the part number.

ill have one in about a week if anyone is interested im getting s/c kit and have a 96 so i dont believe ill use it along with the injectors

If 09350899 is the right part # then what is this other part # timothy is coming up with for ? I wonder if the same 2 bar map sensor is used is used in any other GM vehicles or did they make this sensor just for this kit and nothing else. It seems unlikely that they would only use it in this kit. That would be costly. Then again that could explain the high price for it. If this is the same sensor used in some other gm vehicle they could just have jacked up the price on it because it is a GM performance part.
