Hey guys I would like to know is there anyone making this kit for the EcoTec motor? I know Hahn is making one that will be out sometime summer but is there any other companies or some one that is making them? If so please let me know I'm stuck in the middle of a mega-upgrade for my car and need to be pointed in the right way. I heard around there is a kid that made his does anyone know who he is or if its true?

I know who you're talking about, his name is Josh Freebs, owns a twin charged Sunfire. GM S/C and a custom turbo kit he bought from a friend. Just use the members search and you'll find him, just search for Josh Freebs and you should get it.

hey guys Josh has a Z24 not a ECOTEC thats what I'm looking for. Its cool that he pulled it off on a Z24. Now I know Hahn is making it but is there anyone else or any body that has done it? Jazz I know just remember I wasnt good enough!!!

For the Ecotec, get the GM Charger Kit off the Cobalt SS or Ion Redline, then just get any turbo kit, mate it togeather and you shall be set!

my understanding is that Jim is useing the Hahn set up thats why I was asking about if there was any one else doing one. Also Karo I am head of you on that just looking at the turbos now, something sick and uncalled for to put in the car hahaha you know how it goes !!!

hey i know of a company that are mkaing it a kit for the Ion's and Cobalts.... i was talking to the guy who did it to his Red line... the one you probably have seen his video on Street Fire.... i will talk to him again and find out the company.... its like Psi-Fi or somthing like that.... they actually make a kit....
and yea my twin charge set up was on a 2.4L LD9... i wished i could have used a Hahn turbo kit but he doesnt make them yet for my engine
so i had to do it all custom... i had bought it from a guy on here (DerekZ24) but ended up scraping %90 of the kit i got from him as it was a hack job so it was a bit harder then i thought but even still it wasnt bad at all...
NOTE: ahaha WOW!!!! your car is F-ing amazing....

not to start a fight.... but why? so that you can have a 400 hp motor to drive off the trailer, into the show spot, and then back onto the trailer?

steve you might need a special manifold set up for the turbo , since the car is right hand drive
and where the steering is on yours is usually where the exhaust will run out on the left hand drivers
just needs a custom down pipe wouldnt he? thoughs are easy... mine took all of 2 "J" bends... and could easly be made the other way...

Like it was said, these things win shows, he is not planning about breaking any speed records with it.

Lol, i'm not busting on him or anything, i just never did, and probably never will understand the show car thing... more power to him if he's got the money... Its a sweet car its just that I'm a performance guy and to me personally, i can't get my head around it lol... but good luck with it
