I cant get my cartech to lower the rate of gain per pound of boost. i have the set screw all the way out. their web site says somethin about a restrictor, is this what i need? At about 14psi i see about 115psi of fuel pressure, and i kno thats too much.

you are adjusting the needle valve right?

yep the one with the check valve. i have it all the way out

ok the screw on the top is atmospheric and the BRASS screw on the side is the that adjusts rate of gain... is the fmu hooked up to a vacuum line?
the needle valve screws out to lessen rate of gain.
what is your atmospheric pressure at? base pressure? do you have an AFPR"?

well i kno the idle pressure is at 21psi, lt1-fpr. havent set the atmospheric pressure cause of this problem i am haveing. my screw on the side is alluminum and its all the way out.. i have the 2027. the 2027 and 2025 are basically the same just one has biger ports.

ok well I suggest setting your atmospheric down, because that could be a direct problem of your high psi under boost..
disconnect the vac line on the fmu and you will see the fuel pressure rise and once you know what that is you can lower it down..
I am also astonished at how low your base pressure is, what are the red tops rating?
LE61T PTE6262 Powered
what do u mean by rating? and the atmospheric setting is all the way out also.

do you have a fuel pressure gauge? because I think the more out it is the higher the pressure is, you need a fuel pressure gauge
turn down your atmospheric (turn screw down) and then see how it looks

in the cartech kit they provide a small restrictor for low pressure applications if you do not have it i suggest it. When i didnt have it in my afr was crazy rich.

The center set screw isnt bottomed out. like i said it is all the way turned out. i looked on cartech website and it says to back off the screw to turn it down and i have it all the way out. i think i might need the restrictor.

No, you dont what you need is a fuel gauge to tell you EXACTLY what your idle pressure is and atmospheric pressure is.. when you tell me that I will tell you what to do to correct the problem

Ok i do have a fuel pressure gauge and the idle=21psi, i just set the atmospheric pressure just now and its at 30psi, before that it was 24psi which is 1psi less than the LT-1 regulator at 0 atmosphere. and if u kno how to correct this then please help cause my injectors are clipping up top. i have to have the boost turned down a bit. but they dont all the time

do you have a fuel pump?
I just dont see how youre getting so much psi...
what is this restrictor you speak of?
I am sorry I did not realize you had an inline pump...
but still you shouldnt be seeing 115 psi, do you have the check valve on the needle screw?
LE61T PTE6262 Powered
i have the check valve on the needle screw on. i checked it to make sure it worked. I just dont understand it. the restrictor is on cartech's website it says some vehicle may have to use it. the fmu comes with it but i bought mine used. i have taken it apart and the shim is fine also. here this is exactly from there site
Restrictor
On occasion the regulators will not adjust to a sufficiently low rate of gain. In this instance, it is necessary to add the small restrictor to the signal line. This is provided for your convenience. The restrictor is non-directional, it can point either way.
DRIVE HARD OR DONT DRIVE AT ALL!!!
i dont kno where to get one. their site doesnt have an order form
DRIVE HARD OR DONT DRIVE AT ALL!!!
search for it on google... or call them monday

I guess ill have to do that. thanx for the help
