How can someone tell if there injectors are clipping. im haveing some troubles. when i hit around 14psi my car bogs and then when i let it idle it will go away. it hasent done this for 3months of use though. the fuel ppressure around 14-15psi is around 100. is that too much fuel pressure?

100 psi is too much pressure for the stock fuel pump yes......
and the ford red tops being 330cc are good to about 230hp or so .........
so yes your probably exceeding the injectors limitations AND your probably exceeding the fuel pumps limitations.....
STOP hitting 14-15psi NOW.... or your motor will tell you to in a different way (BOOOOM)...
if you want to continue.... go ahead, but upgrade the fuel pump, lines and injectors (ford brown tops, or GTP injectors both around #36 - #39...IIRC................
and How did it feel at 14-15 psi ...... I know your running the 2200..same as me... do you have any dynos, a wideband ..... anything to tell you info about your fuel ...

i have a narrowband right now. upgrading to a wideband soon. and the 15psi pulls hard all the way through the rpms before it started messin up at the top end. and i have an upgraded fuel pump. 255lph inline msd. im not gettin fuel cut in the higher rpms either. plugs dont show signs of detonation. will be dynod as soon as i can get money for it. i can turn down the fuel pressure so its around 80 at 15psi. would it still be out of the efficency range? and what other injectors would u recomend i upgrade to that have a bosch plug.

how are you idling your red tops right now ????
if you have SAFC..... go out and get some green tops #42....
if you have just a AFPR..... get safc and a wideband before you do anything else...
narrowband mean nothing , never will, don't rely on it

well i changed the spark plug wires and cleaned the spark plugs with a spark plug cleaner and it went away. it drives fine now. i plan on upgrading the injectors soon now. pluss internals. im not gonna waste money on a safc. yes i have an afpr, pressure at idle is about 20psi. im not gonna boost more than 14psi for now. but only on certain ocasions, like when a corvette pulls next to me.

how bad do you romp on vettes..... I can pull like maybe a car to 3 cars at most....... at 10.8psi......

in the morning it starts fine. i have to try to start it twice sometimes but i never have to try more than that. well i have only truly raced one from a dig. i started pulling on him in second gear. by the time i hit 4th i didnt have to push ne more i had about 3 maybe 4 lengths on him and still pullin. but i loved it when he pulled over and talked to me cause his jaw was to the floor. he was like what the hell did u do to that car, i told him it was turbocharged and he was like thats it? i said yea and that was basically it.
