Just wondering if anyone has purchased anything from this company. The site looks okay and they use PAYPAL, but just leary since there prices are very nice on somethings they offer. I called and the guy I spoke with seemed cool and he knew his sh!t about turbos and all that, just wondering if anybody has been screwed by them. I plan on getting a turbo from there and was just trying to make sure they weren't crooks like alot of the "too good too be true" performance shops!

Phil from Spoolin Performance is an awesome guy, and more than likely the guy that you spoke with when you called. They have top notch customer service and the parts are HIGH quality. I actually just got my open atmosphere dump tube back Friday custom made for my Turbo SE-R for dirt cheap. He does good work and doesn't rip out the ass for it.
Spoolin Performance is BIG in the Honda community. Check out Honda-Tech.com and search for him and you will find tons of good feedback and a bunch of his work. Haven't trusted another manifold maker since I bought my manifold for my GSR Hatchback from him back last year.
Okay, im bumping this thread to let everyone know that www.spoolinperformance.com is indeed a great company. If you are intrested, they have several turbo choices that are decently priced(they have the lowest priced, brand new t3s60 i've found anywhere). They also carry many different gaskets, flanges, etc needed for a custom install. All of these items are very decently priced. They are a great company to work with and their customer service is top notch! Phil, the owner, spoke with me personally about my setup and helped me to understand a few things I didn't realize about the wonderful world of boost! He's a very knowledgable guy who's willing to go the extra mile to help out.
For instance, the turbo I received was drop-shipped from his distributor 2 days after my order. However, they sent me a 60 trim t3/t4 turbo when I ordered a t3 hi-performance 60 trim turbo. Phil personally took care of everything and had his distributor call me, apologize, and paid all shipping costs for the return. I know this sounds like a normal thing any company would do for a customer, but from personal experience, i've been screwed several times with purchases via the net.(along with plenty of us on the org)
Im not pushing this company for any kinda profit or anything, im just looking out for all of us in the j body community who's looking to boost, and to help Phil out like he did me!
