Got my Mani back from the welder and everything looks good...when i install it on the car and put the turbo on my T3 flange it's about an 1/8 inch off....facing more down than horizontal...about 15 degrees so now my turbo is buried more than expected..( i have the riser if your wondering.....plans for oil return has seem to be crushed.....not to sure if a standard gravity oil return will work.......Question is.......is ANYONE...using a remote oil pump to return oil to the pan....has anyone seen anyone else that has had this...i did search and found only a few bits of info but nothin that gave me a solid answer......just curious to opinions and any ideas......
im running a T3/T04e 57 trim with a .63 a/r on the turbine.....compressor in on the d/s ..
just to let you know how close i am....i had to grind a 1/16 or so from the top of the trans
the compressor was hitting it but now moves freely to clock the comp.
what i grinded off was a casting mark, so its not vital
i did mark where i wanted the flange but somehow it got welded like an 1/8th off...it doesnt seem like alot, but it is...
Thanks for the help....
