Wont work... my dad has a GNX and we looked at his turbo and what not and trust me you would be better of just getting another one.... he had the turbo map for it and they just dont work well for our cars...

The First Twin Charged jbody
blue car (R.I.P) - 240whp @7psi..
silver car - 305whp 315lbs.tq @15psi (91 Octane) or 420whp & 425lbs.TQ @20psi (94 octane+Alcohol Injection)
All dynos run on a Mustang dyno

Maybe a Mitsubishi turbo but if I were you I'd look for a turbo according to the specs you need rather than a turbo you can get for cheap off a stock car.

Heh, mine is off a 6.5 litre diesel engine, but it's wayyyy too big for your needs I bet.

nice. my buddy had and old 85 bmw 318 and he put and old diesel turbo in it too (I think ffrom a tractor)... so i know its possible to take any turbo and customize a little.. but what is a decent size stock turbo to make about 300 hp???

you need to find maps for these turbos. you cant look at the overall size of them... or just look what others are using on their Jbodys... i think the Saab turbos work...

The compressor on a grand national should be 60 a/r and 50 trim. They will bolt right up to any T3 center with whatever exhaust size you want.

you mean td04. It's used stock on saabs and subarus for sure. My guess is that they won't be good for that 300 hp mark you're shooting for.

Umm no...take it from someone who drives a 1.8T Audi every so often (mothers car), that turbo is waaay small and has no type of "pep". If you want some good power, you need a decent sized turbo. Like I said before, I'd try and stay away from stock turbos...invest your money in an Garrett Turbo or other reputable Turbo manufacturers.
