i was talking to brian a while back about some tubing and such but he said they are all up and going... i dont care what the others think about him.. he make good products, he just got caught up last time and people freaked out and acted like the typical Jbody.org member..

i have seen his products in person and have worked with his turbo kit on a 2.4L and it was very well put togeather...

I got one of his very first turbo kits that came out, and i no longer have the kit but i know the car that it is on and it's still all going strong. I have nothing but good experiences with him. The only problem is that this became a second job for him and he wasn't able to put in the required amount of hours the job needed. It basicly took off to fast on him. But last i heard he is caught up and going good again.

his products has no problem as I heard, but his timelyness on getting things out is the major issue. He made too many promisses at the beginning to fulfill all customer needs but then can't deliver ontime. It would be the best if he could tell the customer that the exact time the product will be delivered. Even though if the time is 1 month, if customer wants to wait, he then have no problem. But things ended up shipped about 3 to 12 months before they were shipped out.

I have never had a problem with the manifold that I got from him. It was the six months of waiting and Brian telling me one more week every other week I had the problem with.

Brian makes some pretty damn good quality stuff I will give him that. His prior business practices had been what many people might call mediocre. I'd have to agree. However, I do believe that since his website came back online, he has been making an attempt to get back in good with the J-body community and as long as he is making an effort and keeping moral business ethics, then I will support his business all the way.

I've seen 4 of his manifolds in person, they all cracked. I'm sure he'll claim they are better quality now and the ones i saw were his old work, which might even be true. Just thought i'd share what i've seen, not just internet rumors.

well ive heard his manifolds are one of the best made for a J body, but no way in hell im waiting for 6-12 months for him to ship it out, thats insanity

has anyone tryed him recently since coming back online? cuz the last posts i could find about him were from february 2005, a full year ago!!

none the less, where else does everyone recommend for a 2.4 manifold, internal gated, T3 flange

thanks so far guys!

I purchased a stage 2 kit from him like 2 years ago, I finally got most of the kit like a year and a half later. I had to take care of the oil feed line, charge pipes, downpipe, and the injectors he sent wouldn't work without a standalone or a injector controller. I used the turbo for about 2 months then I popped a seal or something so the turbo started to leak oil into the exhaust. When I asked him to help me, suprise suprise he dodged me and I had to fix it myself. Trust me don't do business with this guy we is terrible.

R.I.P. Brian Klocke, you will never be forgotten

Re: exploited racing

I ordered from him about a year ago, product came within two weeks (about 9 days) which quite honestly suprised the hell out of me, expected it to take forever, that's why I ordered this part first. But this time I was going to do it right, and I believe that Exploited makes the absolute best manifolds for our cars, period. His welds are perfect, at least the ones I got. Here is a pic of the first EBay manifold I used, compared to the one I have in my hands waiting for my motor to be broken in

Old manfiold, look at those crap welds

Exploited manifold, THICK stainless steel, VERY good welds, worth a 6 month wait in my opinion

If you have the time, I would recommend him. If you do not have the time, I would still.

Im gettin better with my customer service... right now all the electrical in my shop is being gutted and re-wired, since the city took a look in there and had a fit! So they had my electric shut off til its all brought upto code... the city my shop is in, are serious dicks when it comes to following codes. Hopefully power will be back in a week or two. Until then im not sure what im gonna do.. i might goto a friends shop to weld them up.

id say give him another chance he is making a decent effort and you gotta have some sympathy for the guy i mean look at all the people that have dealt with him if hes a lone operation which im not sure if he is or not thats alot of work welding up manifolds nice and what not. So him actually getting everyone their stuff is an amazing feat especially if he was doing a day job and then doing the turbo stuff after. He musta been stressed crazy style. As long as he is up front about legitimate estimates on time up front it would be gravy.

His manifold does look very nice i would consider one if i knew shipping would be quick cause im picky about getting things when i buy them.
