I have a 99 cavfire with about 120xxx km on it and im looking at putting aturbo kit on it...i know jtuners and hahn makes a kit for it but i have heard that jtuners header which i love is made of very thin metal and cracks to hell so i dont want that obviously..lol and as for the hahn kit i have been tol d by others not to go with them..so in all your 2200 experiences what kit is te best to go with in terms of customer service, quality, price ect..phil

I chose Hahn for my turbo kit, even though its for an Ecotec. Their customer service is top notch, they're on the ball answering questions as fast as they can, they use their stuff in real world situations (look at Adam's Sunfire...all the parts related to the turbo system on it can be bought from Hahn and most of it is Hahn made and/or designed.) They also have wicked fast Neons (420A and SRT-4), DSMs, and now some killer v8s entering the stable.

You don't get a reputation like Hahn's without being great to your customer and showing off your stuff on your own car and absolutely punishing it. I have met with Bill on more than a few occasions...he is a crazy guy who loves power. I can't think of anyone better to make parts than someone who loves racing, has raced, and has done very well as a racer.

This all being said someone will claim that I'm biased. This is probably true. Bill has helped me with my car IMMENSELY, to the point of tuning the car for me and helping me do things never dreamed of before. That not withstanding, go out into the DSM and 420A motor worlds and mention Hahn and you will hear about some KILLER cars.

I used to race cars, now I race myself.

Yes, Hypsy is biased. Yes, Hypsy has a reason to be biased. I accepted Hypsy as a staff member of my website, and I support him, and his business, and his posts fully. Hahn is a great company who goes to great lengths to please their customers both in service and product quality.

I was a retard, and now I'm permanently banned.

HAHA Ken. I'm still trying to convince this 16 year old around here who's parents have too much money but still bought him a LN2 Cavy to buy the Hahn turbosystem for it. If he does you two can race. Then we'll know for sure. MUAHAHAHAHA

Boy you need to learn how to speak. Everything that comes out of your mouth in this forum is either a shot at those of us who are either A) too busy to make our own kits B) can't afford to be without a car long enough to make a kit or C) would rather have a kit that already has been proved. You keep this up and someone is going to put you in your place real soon.

Making a comment like that about the Hahn kit and it being for lazy people is a good way to get someone to come shut you up. Heck...at this rate I'll take first dibs to put you in your place.

Learn some respect for others or STFU and GTFO.

Your a MORON...........

first of all.... it is COMPETELY for a LAZY person that DOESN"T want to do the RESEARCH required to build THERE OWN kit .......................

WTF is wrong with you ????? I JUST SUGGESTED THE HAHN KIT.. where you happen to work ??? or something ................

SO

A) YOUR A MORON
B) HOW DO YOU NOT HAVE THE TIME TO PUT TOGETHER YOUR OWN KIT....... if you have the time to come on here and ask about it .... you should have

IT TOOK ME 9 MONTHS JUST TO GET THE PARTS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

you OBVIOUSLY have misplace anger.......... all I was saying was that he should BUY a prefabricated kit... if HE is too lazy to build his own ......... it's "Not the lazy mans way out".... it's the rich mans way out ........
Im not rich ...... infact I'm in school to become an Architect... I'm BROKER THEN BROKE..... and I STILL managed to put together a kit .......... took a while in saving ... but I did it ............

oh and if you want to come put me in my place.... I live in Toronto, Canada............. come on up for the jbody bash at St. Thomas.... we'll chat..... Don't try and bring gun ... you'll get stopped at the border... hahahahahha

anyways I'm done .... I don't need to waste another second explaining myself to you ...

Wow your a dense one...but your good at covering your tracks. I'll give you that.

If I didn't already have a commitment to keep the days of the J-Bash in Canada I would be there. But alas my rich, lazy ass has to go somewhere else.

Boy if you new how broke I was you'd laugh. I'm in school to be an automotive tech. Have you looked at tool prices lately? Have you noticed that I race a lot? Think that's all free? Think all the parts for my car are free? Any money I get either goes to the business or to bills. I have very little to myself. I have to plan way ahead of time before I can buy anything. Tell me how I'm rich PLEASE.

Do you realize how much time it takes to get an Associates Degree? I have very little free time. As a matter of fact I'm about to go back to school for more classes in 10 minutes. Free time is another precious commodity I don't have. I have 16 credit hours of courses this semester on top of 30 hours of work at Walgreens and then all my family commitments and responsibilities. Tell me how having no time makes me lazy.

having no time doesn't make you lazy ... but you just answered your question ... I who have little to no skill in the trade of automototive technician still managed to find the time to put together a kit for my car... ARCHITECTURE ISN"T CHEAP..... 10000 a year ..... for 5 years = Masters of Architecture from the University of Toronto.........

I have noticed tool prices............. did you know autocad cost upwards of $5000.00 EACH licence......... then theres Architectural Desktop, Autodesk Rivit, Autodesk Viz Render.... etc..... I wouldn't laugh at how broke you are.... because I HEAR THAT !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't afford to go down to the track more then 3 times a year......................

I'm that broke.........

and that does suck you can't come to the jbash .... I would have LOVED to get a video of your car and show it to all my DSM and interga friends to show them a cavalier CAN infact run 12's................

Nice ride, keep racing.......

I have 21 credit hours a week and I work 30 hours a week too... just to afford insurance and gas, and parking...etc.....

Anyways now that we both went over our budgets and we both are feeling the broke-ness yes I said broke-ness......haha I'm going to go to drink some of my parents beers .....and do some more drawing for a project..

See ya
