Well i have the ATP oil restrictor and have heard good things about it......I am mapping out the way I want the brass fittings to be out of the oil pressure switch....my question is, does it matter were I put the restrictor as long as i put the my oil pressure guage after that ............do i have to put the restricter right at the turbo or can I go closer to the oil pressure switch port..... also would I want to put a valve in there to be safe in case the restrictor doesnt work.......I plan on running 10w30.....thanks for any info
I put my oil restrictor on the turbo .......................................
threaded into the feed port...... I don't have a pressure guage.... but I'd imagine you could just tee out off the turbo and put the restrictor at the feed side of the Tee..... (not on the turbo, but before the gauge)....
Hope that helps...
as well..... if your running a large enough return line you shouldn't even need a restrictor............. 3/4" is the perfect size.... or 5/8"............ that works too ....

No the restrictor will never hurt.... as long as it doesn't restrict too much.......
