First off, I just got a Lanzar Opti1232D sub, and i am planning on running it off a Lanzar Opti 500.2 amp.

Sub Specs:

Amp Specs:
http://www.lanzar.com/el.asp?model=OPTI500.2

What would be my best way of wiring this? I am not really familiar with the dual coils, and wanna get full potential out of my stuff... thanks guys

well, that amp doesn't list that it would be 1 ohm stable, so you would have to wire your sub in series

+ from amp, to + on one coil. - on that coil, to the + on the other side. - on the second side, to the - on the amp.

That'd be the way to go with those two.

you will need to wire the sub in series to bring teh load up to 4ohms that should be safe for the amp
