Heres the deal. I currently have 3 single voice coil Memphis Mclass 12" subs
rms/peak(W) 200/400
I can get a really good deal on a dual voice coil Memphis LVS 12" sub
rms/peak(w)800/1200
Both are in a 1x1 sealed box
I need to know If I should get the 1 sub or stick with my 3. I want it to be really loud. The LVS is the top of the line memphis makes, they are for comp.
I would also like to know if my amp would work with the LVS 12"

I really need your advice fast. I have to either buy or forget about the LVS sub!
Ok so I went down to a stereo shop today that is a memphis dealer. Well He told me not to get the LVS because I will need a 4-5 qft Box for the one sub!
AND 2 1000D amps
what do you guys think, he said the sub goes on special for 750 new. and i can get one for 400 Used. I am just so confused.lol
HE told me that if I upgraded my amp to a 1500 and kept my 3 12' SUBS IT WOULD BE JUST AS LOUD AS THE 12" lvs. I just want it to be really loud

2 amps on one sub...not a good idea unless they are strappable.
don't have much experience with those particular subs though so i can't recommend either or.

k well alot of my friends have memphis ssubs in their vehicles. stick with the MClass beacause the Mclass subs are alot better then those LVS speakers. not sure how much u kno about memphis but the Mclass n mojo speakers are their top of the line speakers. also wit 3 12s you are moving alot more air so you will have better spl.
